Struggling to get inspired by the day to day racing at the moment with cheltenham so near now,Ive only looked at 1 race today which is the best grade handicaps off the day and im going with one small selection which looks overpriced at the moment.

Ive got a bit of spare time over the next couple of days so likely ill get a few more updates in for my thoughts on the races next week over the rest of today and friday.

Im suprised in the lack of support here for any of the horses making there handicap debuts, maybe they think the race is plenty competetive or that they just dont feel there marks are not that fair.As many will know by now though im always keen to take on these types that still have plenty to prove on the formbook and although a couple today especially the hobbs horse probably dont represent bad value they still have to improve plenty.
No to trident could be well treated and its intresting teh support for him early today but his profile is a little in and out and whilst respected im happy to take him on with what I beleive is a more solid option. Forest Rythmn is a much better horse on a decent surface as he showed last season when winning a handicap around the course and distance last may off a mark of 97 he then ran well off higher marks then today on a couple of occasions to suggest he can win a race like this off his current mark.Jimmy derham is back on board today and he seems to run his better race with him and I think there is Plenty in this ones favour today to suggest a good run at whats looks a decent price.
