Nice winner yesterday returning at 12/1 I was trading the horse on betfair prior to the race and was a little suprised of some of the prices available and it proved to be a very decent result for myself.Aran concerto ran a solid enough race and managed to get 2nd so no damage done there, the each way double was probably a bad bet as It was case of not wanting to miss out on a couple of horses rather than thinking they were great value.Charlie cool stays on the list and will be winning soon a few more will probably be on him next time though.

Ghiammar is not my usual type of selection but I think he is potentially much better than an exposed bunch here and far better value than the nichols horse who has to improve a fair bit for me.Stage acclaim and cockney trucker are the 2 exposed types that set the form but neither look like they will be able to cope with the selction if he returns in the same form of last season.Has had plenty of expereince on the flat so first time in a handicap does not concern me to much especially as his jumping seemed to be improving with every run last season.Conditions look fine at this stage and I think he is going to prove a fair bit better than this mark.

Sky calling is an easy selction here in what looks a weakish race.I like the stables runners when they try to follow up like this and a similar performance to last time should see him take this.Has the scope to improve further and Id have this one priced up a little shorter.

A couple here that could improve but they dont look much value and I think aurora sky should see this trip out if recent efforts are anything to go by,2 from 2 with richard hughes.

aspro mavro is worth a mention here Ill be suprised if there is not some money around for him later.Refused to race over hurdles last time and has not really progressed as expected but blinkers look a prositive for me as does the booking of holland,if they can get out in front I think he could be difficult to pass if in the mood.
